FIRE CONTACT SWORD
This Fire Contact Sword is a must-have for contact staff experts! Developed over three years, it features an aluminum 7075 core, providing the perfect balance of lightweight feel and stability to prevent bending or breaking.
What sets the Gora Fire Contact Sword apart is its handle-to-blade ratio, making it look and feel like a real sword. With a 15 mm x 1 mm aluminum 7075 tube, it's designed to be light and stable. Keep in mind, this is a specialized tool meant for skilled performance, not for fights or throwing.
The sword is available in two lengths, 1060 mm and 1260 mm, and weighs 970 g and 1000 g respectively. It features a 50 mm diameter steel ball counterweight that weighs 630 g, covered with a casted rubber layer for added safety.
The handle is covered with our 3.2 mm thick SuperGrip©, which has a soft spongy underlayer and a sticky, dotted overlayer that stays non-slip even when wet. This grip is perfect for performers with sensitive skin or allergies.
You can choose between two handle designs: an ergonomically tapered hourglass shape for better control, or a straight design that feels more like a contact staff. Both designs include a silicone disc to separate the handle from the burning surface, enhancing safety.
The sword has two marks to indicate the balance point: one for when the sword is dry and one for when it’s dipped. As the sword burns, the balance point shifts from the “dipped” mark to the “dry” mark.
The blade tip is wrapped with a 25 mm reinforced Kevlar wick for abrasion protection. If it gets damaged, it's easy to replace this part before using the sword again.
This Fire Contact Sword creates an amazing visual experience, sure to captivate your audience and make your performances unforgettable!
Recommendations for Use:
- Don't dip the last 10 cm of the blade to keep the grip and your body safer from heat.
- Handle and transport with care to avoid bending from side impacts.
- Avoid using the sword for fights or juggling tricks as it can't handle strong impacts.
- Steer clear of benzene or white gas; they can damage the Kevlar and silicone disc.
- Only ignite the prop if you have the necessary skills. This sword is made for expert contact staff players.
