Carbon fiber rod is precision-manufactured from pultruded unidirectional carbon fibers, ensuring optimal strength distribution along its length.

With its high strength-to-weight ratio, the carbon fiber rod finds extensive application in industries like aerospace and motorsports. Its utilization extends to recreational sports equipment, including kites and radio-controlled models.

The pultruded carbon fiber rod exhibits exceptional performance in bending and tension applications due to its longitudinally aligned fibers. However, it is not well-suited for scenarios involving torque, torsional movement, side loads, or crushing.

Cutting and shaping the rod is facilitated by various tools such as a band saw, coping saw, scroll saw, end mill, or dremel tool. The epoxy matrix used in manufacturing Enhanced Composites' pultruded carbon fiber rods ensures seamless bonding with epoxy resins.

Common applications include radio-controlled (RC) planes/helicopters, unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), stunt/power kites, robots, and mechanical control mechanisms.
