Perfect for a dramatic fire show or a spectacular hat juggling finale, the Fire Juggling Hat adds an incredible visual effect. With proper use, it looks more dangerous than it is. It suits nearly all hat juggling tricks, including spinning, rolling, and throwing.
Technical details:
Classic 3-layer felt cylinder base
Top layer soaked in fire retardant
Aluminized Kevlar felt top cover
10 mm Kevlar rope hand-sewn with Kevlar thread
How to use:
Carefully apply 2 x 10 ml lamp oil using the included syringe, ensuring it only contacts the Kevlar.
Apply water to the felt top with the included spray head 5-10 minutes before the show.
You can Apply Zippo or lighter fluid to the Kevlar 1 minute before going on stage.
Burn time is about 2-2.5 minutes. Properly used, the hat lasts over 100 burns and weighs about 490g.
Tips for use:
Prepare carefully backstage with a headlamp.
Keep the felt away from fire by pushing dents back down.
Pick up the hat immediately if it falls.
Don’t tilt your head downwards when the hat is on fire.
Use background light, especially from underneath, to see the hat's position better.
